Routines in the swimming hall

Hönö is an island in Gothenburg's northern archipelago and is accessible from Gothenburg by ferry from Lilla Varholmen. Hönö can also be reached by bridge from Fotö, Öckerö and Hälsö or by ferry from nearby islands in the archipelago. You can drive a car on Hönö.

To enter your course time, there are instructions in the information email that is sent out just before the start of the course. You get access to changing rooms and showers 15-20 minutes before class time. Remember that it is important that the course participants use the toilet before the lesson. All course participants must also shower their entire body and hair with soap and shampoo before the lesson. This is done before the swimwear is put on and is important for the water quality. No underwear may be worn in the water, only swimwear is allowed in pools, i.e.: swimsuit, swimming trunks, swimming shorts, bikini or burkini (not cotton).

I pick up the student at the door between the showers and the swimming pool. Here we meet again at the end of the lesson for pick-up. It is important that you wait inside the doors and do not enter the swimming hall until the swimming instructor picks you up. It is also not permitted to let course participants into the swimming hall by themselves before the swimming instructor has collected them at the door. Please be back in good time for collection. You can accompany them into the swimming hall at the first and last lesson of each term.
